this add-on is primarily for supplementing the main commission (full body character illustration and full scene illustration) and will be kept a little rough

turnaround time: +1 month ~ 2 months added on top of illustration commission

workflow

0. please finish reading this page and prepare as many references as possible so I can better understand what you want ( please read the bottom section if you need help choosing references)1. We discuss the scope, deadline, usage requirements, (dimensions, color profile, etc). You send me any references you want me to use, I send you a quote based on your needs.
2. Once the quote is accepted, you will send a non-refundable deposit and I will begin sketching.3. I will provide 3 initial black & white sketches for you to review4. after approval/revisions, I move on to cleaning up the sketch and adding color. I will provide 3 different color sketches.5. After approval/revisions, I will take the piece to the rendering stage (no revisions allowed this point on)6. I will send a low-res version preview for final approval. Once remaining balance is paid in full, I will deliver you the hi-res original files.*if you purchased the character design add-on, the process will be from steps 0 - 4. Once the design is finalized, I will start again from step 2 to complete the illustration

Terms of service

  • all communication will be done via discord or email! My timezone is EDT (UTC/GMT -4 hours)

  • my turnaround time at the moment is 4 ~ 6 months depending on the size of the commission

payment & pricing

  • all pricing above may slightly change based on complexity or further details such as commercial-use

  • an upfront non-refundable deposit is required via paypal (if it's a large amount, Venmo or zelle is ok!)

  • partial payments will be required after each completed stage (as described in the "workflow" section) and you will pay the remaining amount when the commission is completed

revision policy

  • you are entitled to 3 revisions (total) for the sketch and/or color phase.

  • no revisions are allowed once i reach the rendering stage

  • major revisions are not allowed during the clean-up phase

  • additional/major revisions will be +25~100% of the base price

copyright & usage rights

  • all commissions are personal-use only (unless otherwise agreed upon.)

  • i reserve the right to use any part of the piece for purposes such as displaying in my portfolio

  • please... DO NOT use my work for AI training or NFT's

cancellation & refunds

  • If you cancel before I begin the sketch, you receieve a 85% refund (before fees).

  • Cancellation during the sketching/coloring phase will result in a 50-75% refund.

  • No refunds are allowed during the rendering stage or if the piece is completed.

  • If I cancel for whatever reason, you will receive a 100% refund

what references to provide

images to avoid

  • ai images

  • low-res images

  • an abundance of existing character design artwork (unless its primarily just to get the vibe across)

good images!

  • vibes/mood

  • specific poses/shapes

  • color/lighting

  • specific objects and tools (i.e museum objects) for their design or usage

  • locations/environments

  • specific hairstyles

  • specific clothing

  • doesn't always have to be specific, can just be overall vibe/purposeful y'know

  • organize the images (preferably in google drive) by character please!
